NAB Legal Marketing, LLC started as a humble side-job for a law student to gain experience in an interested area of law while honing his research and writing skills. As noted on the “Testimonials” page, it was an instant success. The response from regular clients, prospective clients, and other attorneys referring cases was apparent and profound.
Doing further research—and having practical experience in the legal field—it became apparent that attorneys taking advantage of the internet drafting legal articles or blog posts, using social media effectively, and constructing efficient websites had a significant advantage over their competitors. However, there is a problem. Solo practitioners and small firms are inherently handicapped by their size to compete with behemoth firms who can spend absorbent amounts of money for these services.
At the same time, the legal job market is slothfully recovering and still fractured. It has created an unwelcoming, cut-throat atmosphere amongst law students and young attorneys. Providing an additional edge over their peers by researching and drafting legal articles and blog posts each day has an obviously beneficial effect on job prospects for law students and young attorneys.
Thus, it became apparent that this service could be expanded to assist other law firms while providing the same opportunity to other law students and young attorneys. Therefore, NAB Legal Marketing, LLC was simply the case of an ambitious individual seeing a problem in the legal field and seizing the opportunity to fix it.
Hence why the business philosophy is to help the solo practitioner, the small firm, and the law student or young attorney excel in this market; David v. Goliath.
